Innovate CalStateLA is a week long celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups, non-profits and companies that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand social impact. During one week in April, Innovate CalStateLAÂ inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators.
The Business Pitch is open to students across the university. This competition encourages students with an innovative business idea to compete for prizes, mentorship, and the chance to pitch their ideas to our panel of highly accomplished investors and entrepreneurs.
The competition is hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurship and sponsored by the College of Business and Economics (CBE) and a broad coalition of campus and community partners.
 The Social Innovation Prize (SIP) is a campus-wide competition celebrating the innovation and social justice spirit of Cal State LA. The competition is sponsored by the Civic and Social Innovation Group (CaSIG) and a broad coalition of campus and community partners.
Teams generate and pitch innovative solutions to social problems affecting communities in the Los Angeles Area and have a chance to pitch and compete for grand prizes!Â
